Who can join?
Have recently experienced a traumatic event involving “exposure to actual or threatened death, serious injury, or sexual violence” by “directly experiencing the traumatic event(s)” or “witnessing, in person, the event(s) as it occurred to others”
Experiencing visual intrusive memories of the traumatic event(s) on more than one occasion
Adult between the ages of 18-65
Able to read, write, and speak fluently in English
Willing and able to
provide informed consent
comply with the physiological and behavioral measurements and digital tasks
Have access to an internet-connected personal laptop and smartphone

The study explores how emotional memories from psychologically traumatic experiences affect people over time
